Oh, good evening Houston. I said good evening. Sorry about the delay, but there was food in the dressing room. No, I'm only kidding, some funny, some funny head winds about eight miles high. Not much time to give you a brief history of the last two years. It's been mostly spent on our backs. So we're just gonna get on and play.

Thank you very much ta. It's indeed a pleasure to be back here. ah A lot of things have been going on since we've been away, and you'll see as the program takes shape. Anyway, what we're gonna do, that was a blues based thing from ah, the turn of the century I guess originally. This is something that ah, comes from around the same time, with a little bit of Zeppelin too.

Well if that was um, a sort of work blues originally, I guess it was when people were dragging, dragging is the the right word? Rings a bell. Balls and chains, and being very despondant with life. Well this is the samoe sort of thing, but this is one we put pen to paper. This is a blues. Jonesy's on piano, and it goes like this.

Jimmy Page lead guitar. This next piece ah, this next piece features the ah, uncontrollable bursting talents of John Paul Jones. The mystery man comes alive. On keyboards, John Paul Jones. It's called No Quarter.

John Paul Jones piano. So, so not to repeat me self, but this two year thing that I keep on about, it keeps bugging me, is the fact that we were unable to fulfil our physical obligations to ourselves and that is to get on the road. Anyway, now we seem to be able to do that again, and during the rehearsals that we had just before a very cold Christmas in England, we decided we'd have a look at some of the stuff on other albums that we hadn't attempted before on stage. This is one of them. It brings John Paul Jones to the forefront yet again with a three necked ah, turkey. A three necked guitar, sorry. This is a song about the first, first time round. It's called Ten Years Gone.

Thank you. It would appear that my microphone wasn't so sure about holding on. So this is the plan. You see, when we were teenagers in about 1970, 71 ah, just before we started punk rock, we used to do an acoustic set, and if you've ah, followed some of the rubbish in the papers, and not the papers in Houston of course, you'll find out that we're just about to start doing an acoustic set for you right now. So I hope you like it. This brings to the fore front John Henry Bonham. A man who seldom comes to the front of the stage. John Bonham there, white trousers, tank top. He's the sort of, he's the sort of Joan Baez of Led Zeppelin. The peace movement. In fact, Joan Baez once said, who's John Bonham? Turn the mandolin up in the monitors. We have a little trouble getting the balance right on stage when we switch from electric to acoustic, but I think we're there.

Thank you. Thank you very much. Well I guess that song was ah, a little bit of an ilumination of what it's like on a good summers night in England. The vibe you can get if you sit in the right place that is, and as much as that is very English in its ah, origins, then I guess we owe this one to the United States of America.

Well, I just want a piece of your custard pie. Drop down baby let your daddy see. what we're doing is we're trying to make an interlude while Mr. John Paul Jones brings out yet another one of his secret weapons. For the man in the background he's now getting very leery. It's what every rock and roller ever wants, a standup bass.

Let me take you there. In every home there is a Kashmir. No that ain't right, is it? Right now, a very emotional part of the evening. The part where we bring to you, what's that buzzing noise? Hang on a tic, shhh, shhh, cause we want to see where that noise is coming from, I think it's one of Jonesy's secret weapons. I knew he did something. Right this is a very emotional part of the evening. Arsenal, Manchester United won the English FA cup this afternoon, beating Liverpoo2-1. That's soccer. You remember soccer? Well you will remember in about five years time it'll be everything, but apart from that, the emotional part of the evening when we bring to you the Joan Baez of rock. John Bonham Over the Top.

I was hungry and you took my heart and fed me. I was thirsty. Achillies Last Stand, and it did, and it kept on, and on and on standing. Here's a song that, I guess ah, needs, needs very little introduction. It's a song of, we hope, continued positivity, we hope.
